Campus MUD
Frontiers is a WCSU resource to explore computer-mediated communication. Our primary service to the University community is the Frontiers LP Mud, a text-only "virtual space" providing a context for communication patterned on a campus-like environment. The Mud is available to all people able to connect to our server here on port 5050, providing access to the ideas and creativity of visitors from within the University and the Internet at large. If you have any questions on our projects, services, or anything else, please email Bill Sánchez, the Frontiers Project administrator, or the project faculty sponsor, Hugh McCarney.
If you think you'd like to join the Frontiers LP Mud creator team, come visit us by telnetting to frontiers.wcsu.ctstateu.edu 5050 and fill out an application at the admissions office. Also feel free to roam around the Virtual Campus there, and let us know what you think so far!
